Casual Conversation
Dr Chavez is like having a friend who studied nutritionโ€ฆheโ€™s knowledgeable but not condescending, enthusiastic but not pushy, and friendly with a touch of nerdiness. I like his podcast because he provides good quality information on current topics in an organized but casual way. I find that itโ€™s a good accountability tool for me to just stop by and listen every once in a while to check in.
Digestible and Fun Episodes
Listening to Dr. Adrian Chavez feels like listening to a friend. His episodes are fun, easy to understand and bite sized (perfect for retention at least for me who needs to replay). Im an engineer by day and a personal trainer/nutrition coach by night. During my undergrad I wished I had more time to take nutrition classes and better understand the foundation/science behind the recommendations and best practices Iโ€™ve studied during my certification courses. This podcast echos what I read in the texts and provides context and answers to questions I would like to have for my clients and familia ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ Iโ€™m so appreciative of the time and energy you put into these shows! I canโ€™t wait to learn more with you in 2026. Also itโ€™s great to see and reference to see a doctor that represents the community Iโ€™m a part of โค๏ธ SO PROUD!
Down to earth and informative
Dr. Chavez breaks down health and fitness topics into easy to understand segments, making recommendations based on science. Iโ€™m glad he mentioned menopause fear-mongering and I look forward to that episode.

Cuts through the BS and saves us from the grifters!
This podcast is so great at giving us facts and I for action to help us make informed decisions about our health. His focus is on health and nutrition and not padding his income with wild products. I so appreciate the short format and for helping us cut through all the BS grifters are spewing.

Genuine appreciation for this podcast
As someone planning to major in nutrition, I have a lot of respect and appreciation for Dr. Chavez after listening to his podcast for the last few weeks. There is hardly anyone in the media like him with what has seemed like genuine desire to help the public know the truth about nutrition. So far it has been clear to me that heโ€™s not doing this podcast to make money but just wants to offer research backed applicable information. Very well done and much appreciated Dr. Chavez!

I love how Adrian's podcast teaches us about how what we eat can impact us without making you feel afraid of food like some other people in the field (Dr. Greger) do. I would greatly appreciate an episode going over how the body uses different forms of energy for different forms of exercise/movement, and if you could answer my question, is it okay to exercise in the morning regularly if it causes you to wake up with slightly elevated blood sugar?

Fantastic, evidence-based advice and information
I love Dr. Chavezโ€™s work here on the podcast and his IG presence. His explanations are easy to understand, and his info is based on solid evidence (not individual studies, cherry-picked to โ€œproveโ€ a certain point or support a certain diet). I love that heโ€™s willing to call out bad actors in this space, not in a vitriolic way, but not mincing words or tiptoeing either. Iโ€™ve learned so much from these episodes, and shared them with lots of folks. I also really appreciate the near-absence of ads, both as a listener, and as someone who appreciates the integrity of refusing most of the easy money from companies that want to prey on your listenership to make a buck selling things they donโ€™t need (such as AG subscriptions)โ€ฆ All in all, a great podcast to subscribe to if youโ€™re looking to improve your health in the most cost-effective way!

I love listening to this podcast because itโ€™s short and to the point. Dr. Chavez is great at covering major topics and I, personally, as a Doctor of Physical Therapy, like using the information in this podcast to help a lot of my patients with the basics of nutrition because I know itโ€™s science based but also applicable to โ€œreal-lifeโ€!

I always come to this podcast for the real science on whatever health and wellness buzzwords are trending on IG and TikTok. Dr. Chavez does an excellent job breaking down the science and also giving a framework for spotting pseudo-science on social media. Wish all the Huberman bros would listen to this podcast instead!
Nutrition CAN be simple!!
Dr. Adrian is a game changer in terms of understanding nutrition in a meaningful yet simple way. I came across him on Instagram and really appreciate his straightforward, fad-free approach. In a world of paid influencers itโ€™s hard to break through to whatโ€™s not just factually correct but whatโ€™s right for you as an individual and Dr. Adrian helps me understand health and nutrition is a lot simpler than weโ€™re lead to believe. Each episode packs a lot of punch - covering usually 2-3 questions in a concise way. Really appreciate and value his content and would recommend it to anyone whoโ€™s felt victimized by โ€œwellnessโ€ and diet culture.

Dr. Chavez does a great job explaining the science behind certain questions that come up in my everyday life. He recently went over a question about probiotics with antibiotics and did a great job getting into the details of how that works. He is easy to listen to and I like putting the podcast on when I need something to listen to on the drive to work or home. Thanks Dr. C!
